Before You Ask
Yes. Boar bristle is a natural protein fiber, cleaned and heat-treated during manufacturing, and it does not harbour bacteria the way a damp synthetic tuft does. Rinse it and stand it upright to dry, same as any brush.
A smaller head and a shorter bamboo handle, proportioned for small hands and small mouths. Younger children should brush supervised, exactly as with any toothbrush.
Boar is the firmer bristle, an effective scrub for plaque and stains. Horse is the softest brush we make, the pick for sensitive gums. Plenty of parents keep one of each and let the kid decide.
The handle is one solid piece of bamboo with a sealed base, so it dries quickly instead of wicking water, and it stands upright on its own. Keep it out of a wet cup and it stays clean.
One to three months, the same as any brush, and kids are not gentle on them. A box of four covers roughly a year for one child, and the multi-box tiers cover siblings.
The handle and the bristles are, yes. Bamboo and natural hair both break down. There is no plastic component to separate out.
